I've read about the many benefits of magnesium such as for sleep and immune function, and I've seen that magnesium (bis)glycinate is gentler on the stomach and still quite effective when you compare it broadly to other forms. 1000 IU of vitamin D is a bit excessive for the typical person, around 600 IU per day, so I try to portion it out. I am glad that there is vitamin K, as it helps move the calcium absorbed by vitamin D to the bones and teeth instead of accumulating elsewhere. The zinc is also a nice bonus since it is an important component to immune function, though zinc deficiency doesn't seem to be quite common and it seems to assist when currently sick.
