I started taking this mostly hoping for the weight loss effect that Berberine is probably best known for, but after a week of taking it regularly I haven’t noticed any significant change there. My weight fluctuated a bit throughout the week but largely stayed flat. Not a dealbreaker at this stage, a week is a short window and I’ll keep going to see how it plays out over time.What I didn’t expect was the effect it may have had on my sleep. I have a pretty serious sweet tooth so the blood sugar regulation aspect of Berberine caught my attention, but I didn’t think much of it going in. However what I can tell you is that I used to wake up three or four times a night regularly, and this past week I started waking up noticeably less. Last night I didn’t wake up once and slept straight through until morning. I genuinely can’t remember the last time that happened without the help of a sleep aid. I can’t say with certainty these pills are directly responsible but it’s too significant a change to ignore.For that alone I’m continuing to take these. Uninterrupted sleep after years of broken nights is not something I’m taking for granted, and if this supplement had any part in that I’m very grateful. The weight loss results may still come with more time, but honestly the sleep improvement alone has already made this worth it for me.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
